Crafting Opportunities: Brewing Coffee for the Visually Impaired
For 27-year-old Benny, becoming a barista was once an impossible dream due to his visual impairment caused by retinitis pigmentosa. Through determination and training in a specialized barista program for the visually impaired, he overcame challenges and now works as the sole visually impaired barista at LEX Cafe in Hong Kong.
Folding Stars of Hope - Folding Origami Lucky Stars of Hope
The “Star Dream Legend Is Lucky for You” charity event, co-organized by Wanai Charity Service and Love for Life, set a new world record at the Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Center by folding 50,244 lucky stars, surpassing the previous record of 44,136. The event, attended by 550 volunteers of all ages and abilities, raised HK$1 million for disadvantaged communities.
